"The house is impressive from the second you walk in. Entry level is high up in the tree tops, with the ocean and Winnie Bay visible behind. The view is even better from the master bedroom and incredible ensuite. The deck on the living level is bathed in sunshine, which was great for our April stay when the days are relatively short. The pool is unheated but my daughter spent hours in it nonetheless. It’s a gorgeous pool, even better for the ocean behind. The spa was pretty chilly so we just looked at that! We personally found the beds very hard but mostly slept like logs anyway because the house is so restful and with the sound of the sea behind. I struggled to get more than one burner on the stove to stay lit but gave feedback to the manager so hopefully that will be sorted. (There was only one frying pan anyway - take your own if you’re planning a cook up breakfast!) Everything else was spot on and we loved the refillable soaps and shampoos etc plus our welcome basket; and ample towels and pillows. It’s always a pleasure to say a house is better than its pictures and this one definitely was. We were so sad to leave. Note: access to the 5 Lands Walk is right on the doorstep and you can join it from just a few doors down the street; a 15 minute walk down to Winnie Bay and a slightly longer one on to charming Avoca Beach."

"The cabana was well laid out, and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but the pool looked amazing. Just a shame it wasn’t heated. Would love to go back during the whale watching season as the view is fabulous."
