"The only issue for us was no elevator and many stairs we weren’t expecting as we are both in our 70’s, the driver the hotel ordered for us and Alfredo at reception brought our bags up the steps and the staff at checkout helped bring them down. We stayed in the Suite Royal with a nice relaxing jacuzzi. Location was excellent- right across the street is a beautiful park and there are lots of eateries within walking distance. Breakfast was very good"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Hotel Liberty in Catania- the staff went out of their way to provide options for dining, transportation and access to tours and services. At the hotel, no request was too large, they met the moment with grace and ease. The lounge and lobby area was welcoming, comfortable and beautifully reflected the grand tradition of elegance in hospitality. Tutti bene! Grazie mille!"

"It was a beautiful property. The artwork on the grounds and inside the hotel were beautiful. If you love animals as much as I do seeing the elephant grace the entrance is magical. We had a room for three overlooking pomegranate trees. Make sure you have the car, although there was a lovely restaurant right across the way called, La Barcacca which was excellent."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Value, Convenient Location, but Room for Improvement The Hellenia Yachting Hotel offers good value, especially if you’re driving and looking for a convenient base to explore Taormina and the surrounding area. There’s a convenience store and a great gelato shop nearby, although you’ll need to drive to reach the main beach area. The hotel has an impressive marble interior, though the decor is somewhat dated. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed, but cleanliness could have been better, and there was a faint odor. As mentioned in other reviews, the buzzer system allowing people in and out can be noisy. I slept fine with earplugs, but light sleepers may find it bothersome. Since I visited after beach season, the beach chairs had been removed, but I still enjoyed some sunshine on a lounge chair on the outdoor deck overlooking the ocean. Parking was convenient, although it was essentially a dirt lot, and I had to contact someone each time I entered or exited. Breakfast was good, not great, but convenient with a three-hour window each morning. The staff were helpful, though I’ve experienced friendlier service elsewhere in Sicily. Overall, a comfortable stay in a good location at a reasonable price. Improvements in cleanliness, noise, and facilities would help, but considering the value, I’m giving it a generous four stars."

"A great place if you are looking at staying somewhere close to the airport for convenience reasons. But it smells a little weird in the entire place and you have to walk a couple of blocks to the only restaurant we could find. There might be others, but we got in late around 22:00 and there didn’t seem to be a lot open. The restaurant we found was great and the pizza was amazing!"
