"Aldo and Claudia are excellent hosts. I missed their message about arrival time but they were gracious about us arriving without notification. Their home belongs to their family for many years and they renovated with modern convenience without compromising the character of the house. House is very clean and breakfast was generous and delicious. They also offered water, tea and coffee whenever we want( self service) Even though it is not in town, town is only 7 min away. "Overall our 4 nights stay was mediocre. The rooms are big but need modernising as the bathrooms are small and very outdated. The location of the hotel for our family wasnt great. The pool is not very clean but would have been great if they use a robot etc to have it cleaned. As per previous reviews Mosquitos are bad, we stayed at 5 other places on our trip and didnt experience the same. No restaurant at all and bar open only until early evening. The cleaning staff are fantastic."
