"This property is an absolute gem, as is Patrizia (cat woman!). The property is set in a lovely tranquil environment and Patrizia has provided it with everything you could possibly need for comfort and ease. Patrizia is an exceptionally kind lady and when we needed assistance nothing was too much trouble for her. The charming house was extremely well appointed and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the covered outside space looking out over the surrounding countryside to the mountains beyond....

The views make it especially special with amazing sunsets and stargazing – you are truly away from it all. "We had a fantastic time at La Chintana! Marco and his parents went above and beyond during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and they were wonderful hosts. "We spent a very pleasant week in the holiday home. On arrival we received a very warm welcome and were informed in fluent German by the landlady's daughter, Erika, about interesting destinations in and around Alghero and about good restaurants. Her mother, Maria, spoilt us in between with cakes and other delicacies from Alghero. She was very warm and considerate. In the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the house, the chirping of many bird species was obligatory. The view of Alghero every evening...

"This was such a wonderful place to stay... Tucked in a beautiful countryside, within an Olive Grove, but just minutes outside of the City limits. Our Host, Nicola was incredible!!! Most excellent directions to accurately find our lodging, and he was so warm and inviting... lots of suggestions and recommendations that were spot on!! The pool and grounds were gorgeous!! Such a relaxing place for our vacation!"

"Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub,in der Wohnung gaben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt,toll waren auch die 2 Balkone,die Lage war ok,zu Fuß zu allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Stadtstrand ca. 15 Min. ,von der Altstadt Alghero ca. 30 Min zu Fuß, wunderschön!"

"Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen. Direkt vor dem Haus ist der Einstieg über die Felsen ins Meer nicht ganz einfach (Badeschuhe helfen, auch wegen der Seeigel). Wenige Meter entfernt hat es aber einen Einstieg über die Felsen, der wesentlich einfacher ist und einige Gehminuten entfernt befindet sich ein Sandstrand. Die grosse Terasse ist sehr schön, war uns aber sogar im Herbst an einigen Tagen tagsüber zu heiss (trotz des Sonnenschirmes). Im Garten hat es nur wenig Schatten. Grössere Bäume...

"Couldn’t ask for a better location. Steps from Piazza Civica in the heart of centro storico. Cafes/bars, restaurants, shops, the harbor and the promenade that extends for miles … all nearby. Very comfortable accommodations. As others have mentioned, there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment, which was not a problem for us at all, but it may be for others. Super easy check-in and out. Free parking available along the marina - prop mgr can provide details. Highly recommend. Alghero...

"Very spacious, immaculately clean property. If you don't mind a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach and a short drive into Alghero, this is a very peaceful place to stay. The views are fabulous and the sunsets are to watch. The fly screens on every window and the door are a real bonus! Thank you, Clarice and Salvatore, for being the perfect hosts and for your patience in explaining the door lock :-)"
