Excellent strategic location, easily reachable by car on paved roads. The Pousada is small and quiet, and has a wonderful view of the Serra da Canastra. The rooms are adequately sized, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The town of Vargem Bonita offers various amenities reachable even on foot. Overall, it is an excellent base from which trips can be made further into the national park.

Um único ponto de crítica é com relação a acústica, a qual é possível escutar as tubulações de água e esgoto funcionando, as pessoas conversando nos outros quartos e também na recepção da pousada.
