"This place is a gem! Just a convenient eight miles from the town of Cape Charles, this 3 room inn sits on its own private beach in its own little oasis of peace and beauty. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I really felt like a guest in someone’s home. I highly recommend the Baywood - the in town properties look very nice but everything is so easily accessible that it’s more than worth it to stay in this off the beaten path spot and enjoy the privacy and hospitality. We will definitely be back. "

"This home was perfect for our family! With a park and playground right across the street, and the beach close by it allowed us to have a great vacation. The homeowner provided kitchen and bathroom essentials that made our stay easier. The outdoor shower was a great feature to have especially for after the beach. We loved how cozy and welcoming the space was. Mostly importantly, all the beds were comfortable and provided us with restful sleep. "

"We have been staying in the area for over 7 years, and by far, this is the best house we have ever rented. The house is comfortable and spacious. I loved having a place to put out food in the pantry. The house was well-equipped with the essentials, like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaners, beach towels, etc. The pool is amazing and the views are amazing! The water was also deep enough for our boat, which has been a challenge to find down here! We had the best time and hope to return next year!"

Everyone was comfortable and we loved the location. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand after the beach and the house was well stocked. Overall it was a great beach stay!"
