"We loved the hotel and its location. Our rm #7 was great with its nice bathroom and terrific deck with lounge chairs. We had an outstanding meal at their restaurant, Blue, and a terrific snack of sushi and oysters at The Oyster Lounge. Highly recommend Tje Abalone!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The host were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations and any questions we had. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The beds ensured a great night’s sleep, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to make us feel at home. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the house. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared each morning. It was the perfect start to our day. The location was also ideal – quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to local attractions and transport. Overall, the guesthouse exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and high-quality place to stay. We will definitely come back!"

"Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away. We stayed almost a week. Asked housekeeping to change our pillow cases once. They did not do this. This was the only request from housekeeping. The Spa is excellent and privately owned. That made up for the disappointment in the hotel."
