We were having lunch at a restaurant overlooking the ocean in Cape Coast when I looked down and saw this little girl making her way across the rocks. I remember the waves crashing against them not too far away and thinking how slippery they must have been for her to be walking on them while balancing that tray...it's amazing the things that become second nature to people as a result of their circumstances.

"Do NOT stay at this property. It is not at all how the website makes it appear and you will be highly disappointed. During my stay the pool was out of order, electricity was frequently off and water wasn’t working. The safe and the fridge didn’t work either. On top of that all the front desk staff was the worst of all. He had no idea what Expedia was and didn’t care whatsoever about anything. He wanted to be anywhere but at his job and was completely non chalant. I left my stay a few days early...

"The moment I saw the property, I knew my family would love it. Sometimes pictures don’t do a place justice, but this one exceeded our expectations. My wife even loved it, along with the kids, which brings me so much joy. The owner was also very responsive and willing to help with anything we needed."

"Orange beach resort is not a "resort" more a very basic hotel with AC. The rooms are ok, shower and AC are working but you don't want to spend more time in it than necessary. No soap but you get toilet paper. The stuff is helpful but stoned all the time so breakfast takes 1h to prepare (if someone is there) for a simple but good breakfast (egg, toast, fruit, coffee). Behind the hotel on the beach side is kind of public toilet and garbage. Pro: location, breakfast, breakfast, price"
