"Absolutely beautiful hotel! The view out our lodge-room window was spectacular. The room itself was large and very well-appointed, with a full kitchenette. Be aware that they do not include breakfast or maid service. The location is quiet and great for hiking and exploring the Irish Loop and Avalon coast, while still only about an hour from St. John's. We loved it and had a wonderful stay! (and yes, we did see whales in the harbor right out our window!)"

"This is a very tastefully presented property with friendly, but unobtrusive hosts. Yes, the property is small, but it is workable with and the outdoor balcony provides a wonderful place to sit, watch and enjoy the view.The location allows exploration of the peninsula, easy access to Whale Watching and Puffin boat trips in Bay Bulls and then returning home. We both loved our stay in this accommodation."

"The property was fantastic. We came off an ocean crossing/sailboat and the cabin was a perfect base to hike the ECT for a few days. Beds were comfy, enjoyed the selection of books and games, utilized the laundry, but the fully stocked kitchen was the absolute gem. Property is clean, quiet, private and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
