My father got into an accident while we were in Sun Moon Lake, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had help in every way possible - from arranging transportation for us to/from the hospital, to checking in on us even after we checked out. "My first room had visible black mold, including areas where the mold had been covered by wall paper. It smelled horribly but having arrived from the US I was too exhausted to ask for a new room the first night. I was politely moved to a different room the next day & supplied with a dehumidifier. It was an improvement but even running constantly it was never less than 65% humidity & musty smell. Despite the kindness of the staff, I wouldn’t recommend because of the issues with mold & mildew."
