"Nice to allow late check in (called in just to be sure). Clean room, air condition working and hot breakfast was nice. We got a room on 3rd floor so need to climb stairs. Didn’t carry luggage hence was ok but could be an issue if you can’t climb the stairs. We didn’t check if they have elevators or not as it was late. Overall nice to stay for a night."

"The location is awesome! I grew up in Roseburg and was down for a wedding so we stayed at The Lodge. Great view and a short walk to downtown AND my favorite restaurant, McMenamins."

"I liked the upstairs coffee & games room. I was disappointed that breakfast was not served until 8:30am in the dining room. We wanted an early start out and had to skip it. We had to get morning coffee upstairs and then left. I would have liked it if there were something to go with the morning coffee, perhaps cookies or something."

"Proprietor Ganelle was excellent and friendly… Perfect blend of welcoming and leave us alone. Great host!! Properly is beautiful and quite. Home is gorgeous. Rooms are absolutely lovely! Breakfast was wonderful."

"Katie welcomed us right away.Showed us around the place.Her hospitality was so pleasant and appreciated. The place was so clean.And the kitchen had everything we needed.A great place to bring your dog.She was so understanding about how pets can be.And what she charges for the place is very affordable.We are already looking forward to our next trip.To our new cozy .Quiet place in the country.Make sure you spend time around all her garden areas.Its just beautiful.Thank you Katie!!!"

"Cheri and Mike are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay. The private tour with the history of the house was a huge plus. Cheri and Mike are proud of the historical significance of the house. The renovations Cheri and Mike did, preserved the heritage. The location is wonderful, walking distance from "downtown" Roseburg. We want to come back. Our room was perfect! Clean and had an in room sink. I loved the sound machines in each room, it helped me sleep better. I wish we could have had another day their. The location is close to I5, but not too close. No freeway noise. Easy on and off. Sadly the property is for sale, I hope the new inn keepers will cherish the history and location."
