The space
Life is better at the Lake! This house is designed for relaxing. Plenty of seating areas on each level and large cozy couches for lounging. Great for multiple couples, as each bedroom is on its own floor, with a King or Queen bed with its own deck, everyone can have a separate spot to hang out. The decks offer views of the Sunset to the right and the beautiful colors of the Sunrise to the left. A great night's sleep is key to a good vacation, so we don't skimp on mattress quality. Bedroom 2 offers a King sleep number bed, and we supply all the linens you need. Toilet Paper, 1 roll of Paper towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, and basic cleaning supplies are there, so just bring your food, toiletries, and a swimsuit. Shoes are optional.
Who has time for TV when there are Lakes, Rivers, hiking trails, live music, shopping, and dining in every direction? But, in case you want to catch a movie at the end of a long day of adventure, every Bedroom has a flat-screen Smart TV for you to log into your favorite streaming app. Every Room also has a Ceiling Fan, extra blankets, and plenty of pillows.
You can sleep 6 people in 3 private bedrooms, 2 more on the Queen Sleeper sofa in the Gameroom, a leather futon in the Primary Bedroom can fit 1 or 2 more (really a better spot for kids than adults), and we've now updated with two more twin loft beds in the Gameroom. There is a large deep sofa on the second level and plenty of room for additional air mattresses if you need them (message the host directly if you'd like air mattresses supplied).
Guest access
You have access to the entire house and backyard. We are located at the end of a quiet cul de sac at the very top of the hill. The backyard is very natural and rugged, with a lot of slopes, so it is not typically accessed by most guests - the three levels of decks are the best way to enjoy the outdoor space. Please be respectful of the neighbors and park in the driveway, not in the street. The driveway is a steep slope towards the house, so you'll want to use your emergency brake and use caution when backing out. The garage is not accessible to guests. You will have a personal keycode to access the house during your stay.
Other things to note
This home is on Septic which means all guests must be informed that they can not put anything down the drain other than TP. This also means no food or cooking grease is left down the kitchen sink. Please make sure your entire group knows this.
The backyard has a slope and then gets steep as you move into the trees. We don't recommend letting young children explore the backyard alone. Multiple decks offer plenty of outdoor space. The backyard is only accessible from the front yard and down the side of the house, and the decks do not have a stairway directly to the back.
This property is not a great spot for your pets, no matter how cute they are. There is no direct access to a yard for breaks, no fencing, the front is very sloped and rocky, and there are wild animals. So you'll want to leave your pets at home for this one.
