"The excellent reviews this property has already received still stand true. I can’t add anything except how much I enjoyed the tranquility, the nature, and ambiance. I spent one morning on the floating dock for two hours, watching the rays of light from the sun pour in through the trees and reflect off the fog gathered at the surface of the river. The birds flying by, the chirping, the fish splashing, turtles’ heads popping through the surface of the water, the chimes of church bells, and the cool breeze coming up off the Guadalupe. Truly spiritual.The temperature was hot, but there is no better place to be in Texas during the hot summer months than the Guadalupe River. The river was nice, refreshing, and most importantly cold, which felt so good with the sun hitting my skin. We had ages 14 - 55, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. My husband, an astronomer by hobby set up his telescopes for night viewing. The evenings felt very nice, and the sky provided a picture we city folks don’t get to see often.It was the perfect backdrop for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. Simply magical."

"We had a great stay and experience. Clean rooms & restaurant bar area, friendly staff & overall they were pretty flexible with our requests. Like letting us bring a blow up pool to the back yard venue space. However, 2 couples from our large group of couples that rented rooms didn’t fare well. Both did not have hot water and one of their toilets wouldn’t work. They requested maintenance, but it never came. Hence the 4 stars from us."

"Everything was very nice. Especially clean. King size beds were comfortable. Pool & back yard clean and inviting. Floating the Guadalupe horseshoe was great. Only 10 min drive to Tube Haus."
