"The house has a good location, close to the beach and to the city, with all services and shops near. We went by bus from Lisbon to Mira and got an taxi to the house. The accommodations are very nice. We had just a problem with clogging of toilets, but the owner went there on next day with products for us to use on it. The thermoaccumulator size is not enough for 12 people to take shower straight, so we had to organize turns for it along the day. In general we liked a lot to stay on the house."

"We stayed 8 days at Isabelle's house and everything was perfect. The rooms are big enough and we slept very well in the cosy beds. Communication with Isabelle was also perfect and the check in was easy, as Isabelle's parents in law are living right next to the property. Thank you for everything "

"My friend and I were staying here on a trip viewing property to buy in the area. The nicest house we saw on the trip was the one we were staying in! It is every bit as good as it seems in the photos - especially the garden area. A great place to soak up the Portuguese sunshine. Jose, the owner was there to greet us and was very helpful. Although one probably does need a car to stay here although we did walk to Penela one day - 3.2 miles. - perfectly do-able."

"We loved our time spent at Carmo’s home in Aveiro. She was very thoughtful, and left some local treats and beautiful sunflowers for our enjoyment. Our infant also slept very well in the provided crib, which is quite a feat! The house is just a quick walk to the city center, and we were also able to enjoy Costa Nova and Coimbra while there as well! Carmo was responsive to our questions, and was so gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!"

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "
