The converted barn has all the ingredients for a restful retreat nestled in a beautiful farm looking out over Cheddar and surrounds. We had a great time with hosts that got the balance right between friendly and helpful and leaving us to do our own thing. Would be back in a flash if Australia wasn’t so far away. "

"Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Batch Cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and was warm and cosy and very comfortable. It had everything you might need for your stay and a lovely garden. It’s really well located for the surrounding towns and villages - we visited Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wedmore and Tyntesfield during our short break. Would happily return."

"Good venue, clean and tidy. Plenty of parking, space for all the family and lovely garden area. Aga great for keeping the house warm and cooking. Only issue - no shaving point in ensuite or bathroom."

"We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!"

"Great place to stay for visiting North Devon.The comment about the sofa being too low was correct but everything else was very good.Very bright and airy with plenty of room.The owners dogs were very friendly and it was very nice to see all the other animals roaming around.The only downside (more of an observation than a complaint) the outdoor furniture could do with being replaced as it is very tattered as the space itself was very nice in the sunshine.Overall a very nice place in a good...
