Villa Myra: open window over blue sea and incredible sunsets

"The place was fantastic! The view was exactly as shown in the pictures and was definitely the highlight of our stay, the best view ever. The pool was also fantastic: clean, saltwater, and large enough for both kids and adults to really enjoy.The house has everything you need and is beautifully maintained. The main house has three bedrooms—two with king beds and one with bunk beds, and there is also a separate guest house with a king bed and private bathroom. The air conditioning worked really well in every bedroom and in the living room, which was especially appreciated in August.A couple of things to note: the internet can be a bit spotty, so you may need to manage bandwidth between personal devices and the TV. Also, the beach is not really an 18-minute walk as advertised—it’s closer to 26 minutes, and in 37C August heat, it’s not a very practical walk. Having a car is really necessary for getting to the beach and exploring the area. With a car, everything is conveniently close, generally within a 5–10 minute drive.Overall, it’s a beautiful, well-maintained property with an incredible view. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!"

"Just returned, what a beautiful villa would highly recommend. Nice and peaceful in your own grounds with a lovely salt water pool and a very comfortable villa to spend time in. Supermarket is walking distance and restaurants are also not far. Angela & Karim were amazing hosts and made our stay perfect. They left us to our own devices but were amazing if we needed anything. The kitchen is well equipped with all kitchen appliances and everything you need to cook if you want. Lovely personal touch with a welcome bottle of prosecco. Nice fresh towels were provided on our second week and the pool was highly maintained being checked every few days. The beach is also walking distance beautiful sand and calm sea perfect for children. We had a car so explored a few adjacent towns which was nice to see. Would recommend to anyone wanting and nice rest but can go out and explore if you wanted."

"It's like club med except Italian style. We were the only English speaking guests but wasn't a problem. Staff really helpful. Rooms clean. We went to 2 restaurants. Food always fresh. I read the reviews ie towels and cost. Should have taken our own. Access to beach was amazing. The sea is so clear. It's certainly the highlight. Negative: missed out on a boat tour as they were all booked out. Should have done that from London. Overall I loved it. Yes you do have to pay extra for chairs near the beach. We were row F. Didn't matter to us. Ps..take your own water bottle."

"Lovely spot with a spectacular ocean view and easy access to swim in the sea. The terrasse is fantastic - even with view of dolphins. We had everything we needed in the house, well equipped kitchen and a lovely barbecue area. AC in all rooms - an absolutely must during our stay. Thanks to Luca and Stefania for having us."

"Outstanding home with all the amenities. Incredible view. Kind and generous hostess. We were greeted with pastries and starters for our week at the house. Local markets are perfect for provisioning. The pool and view were spectacular and we had a lovely week with family after a week sailing. Highly recommend!"
Villa Gabriel - Torre Delle Stelle - SARDINIA

"One of the best vacations and accommodations we have ever experienced. The Villa and grounds are impeccable and the views are spectacular- even better than the pictures. We had 8 family members ranging in age from 23-89 and everyone had plenty of space and an amazing time. We walked to and from the beach almost everyday. We rented chairs and enjoyed the crystal clear water and the cafe- so relaxing. The dinner at the Aquarium was wonderful and also in walking distance. However, our favorite dinner was hand made by Marina- the best food we have ever eaten. Luciana was gracious enough to set this up for us and I highly recommend- you will not be disappointed. Luciana and Dominique took care of every detail to make our stay worry free - they are the most gracious and friendly people. We cannot thank them enough for welcoming our family and making sure my mom had the experience of her lifetime. We hated leaving but are hoping to return again. Thank you again for all you did to make our family feel welcomed."

"Fabulous location with steps from the villa down to a fairly quiet rocky beach which was great for snorkelling and swimming. Spacious comfortable accommodation with amazing views. The drive is steep down to the carport and needs caution reversing out. The pool is not heated, deep and not suitable for young children that are unable to swim. The electrics kept tripping when using the cooker unless other appliances were switched off. We had plumbing issues with a leaking toilet which was resolved promptly. The host was very helpful with any of our queries."
