Washing machine was an added bonus but kitchen is outdated and was unusable due to putrid smell coming from drains, en suite bedroom tv shelf was held up by a chair, in the shower room the shower head was wrong size and kept falling out of the holder injuring one persons shoulder and one with a cut on his nose. The boiler was not working properly so water ran hot and cold. Would also benefit...

"The price is great, the location is good, and the supermarket, bakery, and restaurants are all nearby.To get to the hiking trails, I had to drive 40 minutes to the furthest point.The apartment was really nice, modern, and clean, and all the neighbors were very friendly. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to our next stay.Unfortunately, there is no whirlpool. But we knew that in advance, as the owner told us."

"Very spacious unit. The building itself is very quiet. There's a garage with a dedicated parking space. Gate access is needed for entry so it feels safe. The neighborhood itself is quiet with plenty of restaurants nearby for dining. The airport is about a 10 to 15 minute drive. Funchal is about a 10 minute drive. There are two outdoor balcony areas where you get a great view of the ocean. The unit was very clean. Unfortunately, the refrigerator did not work during our stay so weren't able to use...
