While we visited this lovely hotel and beach in the off season it was a perfect time and location for us. Note if you have difficulty walking up stairs the staff will assist you in getting your luggage up the steps.

A gem of a family run hotel which occupies a privileged position across a road from the promenade and beach. It is also mid way between the town square and the marina. Nothing was too much trouble for Franck and the rest of the staff for they were friendly and most helpful. I would certainly stay in the St George again

Almost perfect!

This hotel is impeccably clean, The bed was very comfortable, everything we needed was there. I don't have any suggestions for improvement, except for the extra breakfast that we paid for: as people who choose whole foods, we would have liked to see a granola or cooked oatmeal offered. There was fruit and there were nuts, so that was a plus.

Perfect stay and delicious breakfast with a view!

Hotel Saint George is the perfect base to enjoy Canet Plage, and it’s many restaurants and bars. The hotel is run by a lovely family who were incredibly welcoming and helpful. There are 2 breakfast options both are great value. We opted for the express option which consisted of two fresh breads, pastries and jam with refillable hot drinks and juice as this suited us best. It was delicious and the perfect way to start our day whilst enjoying the view of the beach opposite. The hotel was very clean, and the room had everything we needed. We found the bed very comfortable. There was room cleaning available everyday. The pool whilst small was a perfect spot to relax too. We loved the area and will definitely stay at Hotel Saint George again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

A Memorable Beachfront Stay

We had a remarkable stay at this lovely beachfront hotel. Its location is perfect right on the beach and close to everything. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the Mediterranean from our room was truly unforgettable. While the room was small, it was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view made it all worthwhile. Breakfast was on the smaller side but well-prepared and satisfying. The staff were absolutely wonderful helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond, even providing us with a bucket of ice for our long drive home. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and although we had some trouble with parking at first, the staff's kindness and assistance quickly resolved the issue. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly return.

We loved pur stay at St. Georges. It is a small, family run hotel right across from the beach with many restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. We loved the personalized details and attention from the owners. They even offer electric bikes for use! We had a seaview room which was spacious, clean and with a small terrace with beautiful views. We loved the quaint town of Canet en Roussilon!!

What we need

It’s was what we wanted but our room said a room with a view of the pool . The pool had been drained and locked off so we could see a not so good looking pool and no chairs to see around . Soo a bit of a disappointment .
