We liked the convenience of the beach and pool to the room. Hated the 2 hour check in while the VIP concierge constantly tried to sell us upgrades, spa packages, free 2 night stays if we came back, and bottles of wine if we visited a near by sister facility. I booked an all inclusive, adult resort. I felt like a was being pressured into buying a time share.

Had high expectations for this resort and didn’t deliver. A resort on the decline, I’m sure the Hyatt bought it at a discount. The check in staff barely cracked a smile and seemed to have an attitude. If you hate your job then quit. The staff was very sales pushy desperate for you to sit through a timeshare presentation, to the point I literally had to start arguing with the guy to leave us alone. You’re better off not making eye contact with anyone. Quality of food was garbage. Both my wife and I got sick for 3 days during our trip. The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. My wife brought her own cleaning supplies and properly cleaned the bathroom and room. On the resort all the staff are looking for a hand-out, daily reminder that I wasn’t a preferred member, to the point I was being bribed by a staff member to give him $100 just to sit in a certain area on the beach because those chairs were only for preferred members, meanwhile they remained empty the entire day. There’s more but I think you get the point.

One of the best beaches ever! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really liked the smaller size of the resort. Downside: The pools were way too hot, not even refreshing.need to be cooled. Worst All Inclusive food we’ve ever had!

Honestly from the moment you arrive, you're greeted with impeccable service by telling you “welcome home” and you will better than at your home. The resort's location north of Cancun city, provides a serene backdrop for indulging in all-inclusive amenities, including delectable dining options and rejuvenating spa treatments. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort, from the elegant accommodations in the room to the beautiful gardens, pools and beach grounds, is truly remarkable. Secrets Playa Mujeres exceeds expectations at every turn. It's a haven of luxury and tranquility that leaves guests longing to return. I really loved this hotel and the service of the great people working there. I would to give special thanks to Polo and Luis from the Barracuda Bar. Esteban from the Japanese restaurant and Victor from the gym, he is a great personal trainer! Thanks to all these wonderful people who made us feel like royalty!
