"Current construction works for the light rail extension compromises what otherwise is a good location. The hotel itself seems a little tired, particularly in the hallways leading to the rooms and the room itself. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking."

"The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, spacious and updated. I absolutely love staying at Avenue Hotel. Amenities are great - I recommend a spa king 1 bdrm. It has a kitchenette, big fridge and a lounge room. The air con is very good and there is a lovely, luxurious set of robes in the bedroom cupboard. The bed and pillows are soooo comfy. I just love this place every time I stay there."

"Clean room though a little outdated. The hotel is very spacious and the atrium area is divine with it's greenery, real plants and foliage - this was delightful and for this I would come back for sure."

"The property itself is great. 2 bedroom apartment (interconnecting) isn't really a two bedroom apartment though. Both bedrooms can't be closed off from living area/kitchen - more a studio. Also only had one mug, one small spoon, one knife. Bed was comfortable. There is construction right outside, started before 6:30am on a Saturday and was also loud trucks late at night."
