Experience comfort and convenience in this Grand Central Towers 2-bedroom apartment. Please note that there are currently construction activities taking place in the building across from us. The construction work takes place every day from 8am to 4pm.
You can access all the property`s amenities throughout your stay. Please read our listing thoroughly to find answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
BEDROOM:
The bedrooms have queen-sized beds topped with professionally cleaned and pressed linen. They also have plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage.
BATHROOM:
The bathrooms have showers and toilets. We provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and body wash. You will need to re-stock depending on usage frequency and length of stay.
KITCHEN:
You can use the kitchen if you`re craving a home-cooked meal. While you stay you will have access to the following:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop
- microwave
- oven
- crockery and cutlery
- dishwasher
We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a 50` Hisense smart TV which you can use. It also has access to local channels. Use your own logins to access smart-related apps.
LAUNDRY AREA:
A washer and dryer are available to use, as well as an iron and ironing board.
PARKING:
The parking garage provides parking space for one car. For additional parking, there is an open public paid parking in front of the complex - Note the entrance to the car park is from Bowes Street, just before you turn into 15 Bowes Street. Look for the driveway on the left-hand side if you`re coming from Hindmarsh Drive.
COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES:
You will have access to the building`s BBQ Area, gym, pool and common garden/courtyard/rooftop throughout your stay. To access the amenities from the unit, take the hallway path to the right before reaching the elevators. The gym uses the air key for entry, and the pool, courtyard and BBQ are through the door at the end of the hallway.
The common areas are managed by the building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We try our best to get the most accurate information to update the listing description as much as we can. In this regard, please check for building announcements at the time of your arrival to confirm the availability of common areas.
Check in information will be sent two days before your check in date and any codes will be sent four hours before your arrival, to prevent fraudulent bookings.
There is a key safe for self-check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. Losing the keys or leaving it inside the apartment will incur a minimum of $355 charge
Your keys are in the `All in One Super Mart - Phillip` just beside the building`s entrance. The shop`s hours are Monday–Friday: 07:30–21:00, Saturday: 09:00–21:00, Sunday: 10:00–19:00. If you need to collect or drop off keys outside those hours, please contact us immediately.
I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.
I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need me. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
Phillip is the heart of Woden, home to the area’s town centre. It’s an area that’s going through a massive transformation, with a huge range of new developments and revitalized spaces.
Apartments are aplenty, both older and brand new. Westfield Woden has recently added the Bradley Street dining precinct, a lot of restaurants, bars, and other casual eateries.
The suburb has plenty of sporting facilities, including playing fields, gyms, and Phillip Swimming and Ice-Skating Centre, which is home to Canberra’s ice hockey team, the CBR Brave.
State-of-the-art healthcare is always close by thanks to Canberra’s main hospital, and plenty of public transport from the Woden Bus Interchange means the area is well-connected to the rest of town.
There are heaps of shops, bars, and restaurants within very short walking distance.
The bus interchange is right behind the building to take you anywhere you want to go in Canberra.
Woden is the geographic centre of Canberra, so nothing is far away.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
Please do not flush wet wipes, paper towels, or sanitary products. These cause blockages in the sewer system. Dispose in the bin provided.
STRATA NOTICES:
Please note: NOTICE OF UPCOMING BUILDING RECTIFICATION WORKS – CAR SPACE 513 to commence on Wednesday, 25 June, and will involve the removal and replacement of the rendered finish on perimeter columns located in the basement area. Please observe any signage, barriers, and instructions provided by the builder throughout the duration of these works. These areas will be under the control of the builder to ensure the safety of all occupants and visitors, and your cooperation is appreciated.
Please note: Spandrel panel replacement works are currently in progress and are expected to be completed by 08 September 2025.
Please be advised that during this period, workers may be operating outside your windows. We recommend taking any steps you feel necessary to ensure your privacy while the works are underway.
Kindly note that while the schedule has been carefully planned, it may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
NOTE:
- You can access the common area using the remote but unfortunately, the pool and outdoor areas are out of order including access to the GYM & BBQ so we can only access the bar room.
- Building rectification works will commence on 18 November 2024.
● Repairing the façade to address water leaks around the building.
● Replacing glass panels in the façade where the backing film has delaminated.
● Removing and replacing drummy (loose) render on columns in the basement car parks.
● Repairing water leaks and replacing stained tiles in the level 14 reflection pools.
● Fixing cracks in various carpark driveways.
● Conducting other minor repairs around the building.
