The atmosphere on the property was very peaceful and relaxing. However, there were obvious gaps around the doors which allowed insects into the room and we came home with numerous bug bites.

"Peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed the pool & mud bath/hot springs. Staff very welcoming & friendly. Restaurant meals were fabulous. Enjoyed hiking, horseback, and zip lining arranged through the facility. Highly recommend."

"C’est tres dépaysant, le seul point négatif est le chemin pour s’y rendre car c’est un chemin très accidenté, mais typique pour le costa rica, mais rendu sur place ca vaut la peine car il y a plein d’activités sur place, c’est tres intéressant"

Rent a car and visit as much as you can. Driving is easy but you do need to watch for bikes, walkers, cows, etc. The paved roads are wonderful and the gravel roads need work but just drive slower and more cautiously and you will be fine.
