"I want to thank all the wonderful staff for being so inviting and friendly, from the reception associates, to the kitchen aids and servers and the driver Francesco. My husband and I had the best time. Yes, the lodge is far from downtown, but this is what makes the stay 1000 times better. You are away from the crowds and the view is amazing. They also have a restaurant up there, so no need to worry about going into town to eat. Finally, they are literally in between hiking places, so you can hike downtown to Monterosso beach or hike to Vernazza from the lodge! Give this place a chance, it is truly amazing!"

"Such a unique property. It was an adventure to find the property but thankfully Apple Maps was a godsend. Sinage is a bit lacking but thankfully the web page provided excellent photos. Very laid back atmosphere and only a 5 min drive into town for a late night snack. Breakfast was included and was very fresh and delicious. Eggs, bacon, fresh baking, yogurt, juices, cereal cheese, and cold cuts. Excellent choices. Highlights included an incredible view and sounds of the town below, breakfast in a stone and brick basement, and hidden rooms and nooks that spark the imagination of times passed Highly recommend"

"I loved everything. The view of Spezia is absolutely lovely. The restaurant itself impeccable. I ate the cut of the day and they accommodated my mother with vegeterian dishes which were also delicious. If you arent renting a car be aware that there is limited slots a day the bus stops to and from there. However they are reliable. If the bus is early they wait till the designated scheduled time for said bus stop to leave. If theyre not on time that means theyre running a bit late. They never depart early. The only negative thing i can say is that the showers water pressure is a bit low. Also once the restaurant is open do not expect hot water. You get hot water in the morning or before the restaurant opens. However it can get too hot and its temperature sensitive. Thankfully its summer so showering with cold water feels lovely. It was a minor inconvenience at best. Everything else is so lovely. If im ever fortunate enough to come back here I will stay with them again. They also provide free coffee and bread. Also this is random and not the hotel/restaurant fault. But they should implement no nudity in common areas. When we were about to leave I was just grabbing the last essentials as she went to go grab a bread.When she opened the door there was another guest in the common area grabbing coffee as well but in the nude. She finds it funny but a no nudity rule should be mentioned beforehand. The guys was nice we bumped into him in the bus stop. Its a good story to tell back home"

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "
