"The hotel really looks nice and 5 star "

"At first we were slightly disappointed at how small our room was, but it actually had everything we needed. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I hadn't checked if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and there wasn't, but drinks could be bought in reception for a small price if required. The room was spotless, except for the floor, which was a bit grubby. Our sink was blocked, but when we reported it at reception, it was promptly fixed. The continental breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful and efficient, both in reception and in the breakfast room. "

"The hotel was lovely ,Very clean , with good amenities Our room was large Staff were heplful,polite and welcoming The Sauchiehall street areahowever is very run down , empty boarded up shops and is dirty . It used to be good and vibrant..Glasgow council needs to improve it, Hotel gets 10/10 , would stay again thank you"

"This was our second stay at the Dakota. The hotel was as good as the first time - it’s well managed and maintained. The location is convenient and the bed is really comfortable. We didn’t have a car this time as parking is difficult. "

"As long as it has a bed and 4 walls... I'm happy. Room was clean.... Small but I was happy with it. The only disappointment was there was no kettle(teabags,milk etc) in the room. I had a double bed, with 2 pillows. The Pillows were thin. Could of done with another 2 pillows. But other than that, it's plain and simple. "

"Hotel was lovely. The lobby was really nice with lots of seating area and work spaces. The breakfast was ok. Bar service was convenient. Wish there was a coffee bar in the lobby between breakfast and bar opening. Rooms are small and basic but clean and in good condition. I’ve stayed at a motel one before and would again."

"Great location for exploring the city and to train station, comfy bed, we opted for the premium plus room as we had stayed in a few Yotels before and wanted slightly more space as it was for 5 night, although the smaller rooms are also great too, staff friendly and helpful and place spotless. We didn’t bowling in the Vega rooftop bar, it was ridiculously expensive but good fun all the same, would stay again"

"Hotel near the River Clyde about 200 yards from Glasgow Central station. Our room looked on to the river and the busy railway line from the station. Good sized room and bathroom was very comfortable. Staff at check-in and at other times during our stay were most helpful.Would recommend."

"The concept of this hotel is great. Busy but not crowded public areas gives a good feel. Straightforward, practical, comfortable, clean room. Very handy for city centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Good security for access to bedrooms."
