Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. The guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully restored substantial village property, with great comfort and decor, as well as a very refreshing pool in which to cool down. "I believe it was a hostel under start-up with improvement potential. The address was incorrect, half pension stated in the description (which we of course didn’t believe), shared wc and shower that was not stated in the description (we were the only guests this time so no problem), towels very small. The breakfast didn’t live up to even low french standard, 2 cold toasts and a black burnt croissant (not eatable, probably frozen and heated/defrosted on very high temperature)."

"I wanted something different than the ordinary. I was struck by the photos and descriptions. Even though a wide angle lens was used, but I knew that. The house was nicely furnished with virtually all one could need in the kitchen. My sister and I are both over 70 and the stairs were a bit challenging as they were steep. The WC is on the bottom floor only so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. But that is very clear in the information. Our hostess was very kind and available!!...
