"For the first time ever (since this place opened), you can stay in downtown Souris- with a view of the ocean, small shops and restaurants a few steps away, and a short walk to the Souris beach and boardwalk. When the tide is out there is endless sand, the bridge is great to fish off of, and the trails are nearby for beautiful walks. There is much to do in summer in the beautiful Town of Souris and everything just a short walk away. And the bonus- the location is brand new, clean, comfortable beds, a nook to eat breakfast, and bright. "

"Our son pronounced our stay at The Cove our best vacation ever, and we all agree. This property is perfectly appointed – your hosts have thought of everything and then somehow created even more delightful surprises.The house is luxuriously stocked with everything you could need, and all of the objects are themselves a pleasure to use. It may be small, but they have real sharp knives, which is so important when you are cooking at home. The appliances are all high-end, and the stove was a pleasure for my husband who is our family chef.The linens and textiles are lovely, and there are cozy blankets and throws everywhere to make sure you are thoroughly cuddled. There are too many spots to curl up in to mention, but the bean bag chairs in the loft and the fuzzy chair and footrest in the living room were very popular.The screen porch is the perfect place for meals – we ate out there for the stay, and it’s so delightful to be in nature without having bugs or rain interrupt you. I had four new life bird sightings from here!Speaking of nature, it’s impossible to overstate how quiet and peaceful this spot is. The walk to the beach is short and easy as you literally smell the roses on your way. There are very stable and safe stairs down to an amazing beach. We have not enjoyed a beach this much since California. There is a river that brings warm water and plenty of interesting rocks and sea glass to the shallow shore.The Cove is amazing – I cannot recommend highly enough!"

"We gathered to celebrate my husband’s and my 70th birthday. Our daughter with her husband and 2 young children and their dog along with our adult son merged here for a week. This place is unreal. We were so happy with this place. Firstly the kitchen is well equipped with good quality kitchen items. The baby items they had were good quality and in excellent shape. The rooms were all a good size and beds were nicely made up and very comfy.The most popular thing for us was the outdoor space. Just so much room for the kids to run and play, and the dog did not need to be tied at anytime. When the tide was out the beach was an awesome place for the kids to dig and hunt for shells. There were also beach chairs so we were able to take them to the beach.The hosts were very quick to respond to everything.We would gladly return here."
