"The HOTEL itself was wonderful, but the amazing amount of noise from the traffic and the police wailing sirens were crazy!! And that part of town was kind of seedy, dirty .. the sidewalks in front were litter strewn, and you take your life into your own hands crossing the streets!! These two things surprised us. One more thing ... we informed the front desk that we wanted to go to the Royal Palace at Caserta, and did so that next day .. once there we found out the entire place was CLOSED on Tuesdays!! ALWAYS! This WOULD have been GREAT if the staff had informed us of this AHEAD of time, so as to not WASTE an entire morning on trains!! 😡😡 We only were able to salvage our entire day by redirecting our efforts to another place and went to Herculanium!! The hotel, once inside was well kept, the attending service people beyond nice and capable, and breakfast was AMAZING!!"

"A wonderful and relaxing stay. I cannot fault the service we received and would definitely visit again. We travelled with a young baby and this was a quiet hotel for the family and they went out of their way to help us get the most out of the stay on the island. "

"Albergo Palazzo Decumani, an oasis of historic gentility in Naple’s liveliest neighborhood, is a beautifully restored 17th c. palazzo on a little square next to the Archivo Nationale. As you enter the hotel, you cannot help being impressed by the palazzo’s original spiral staircase that winds 5-stories up the heart of the hotel. It is functional, but not to worry, there is an elevator. My room, large bright and airy with windows and French doors opening to a small iron balcony, could be noisy if they were open, but double panes and noise-muffling curtains eliminated most of that, so I slept well every night. The hotel staff were all professional and personable, but Barbara and Vera were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Being from Naples, they knew all the best restaurants, sights…and were simply wonderful! "

"Fabulous location and very friendly, helpful staff. The many rooms with an ocean view has jukiet or full balconies for catching the sunrise or sunset. Terrace on the roof is very romantic.. even if you are traveling without a romantic partner! "

"The hotel and hotel staff were outstanding; modern, clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. We had difficulty finding the entrance when we first arrived, but the front desk staff came out to show us the way in. You enter the hotel through a small alley that seemed a bit rough at first, but we had no problems at all while we were there. It has easy access to taxis and public transportation."
