"We stayed for just one night, and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, spacious, and felt newly furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. The hotel is not located in the city center, but it’s about a 10-minute walk to the station, and from there it takes around 20–25 minutes by train to reach the center. There’s also a large supermarket right next to the hotel where you can find everything you might need. We enjoyed our stay overall."

"Really good location as it’s a 5 min walk from the train station also very close to the ferry. The room is on the smaller side but that’s expected in Varenna. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and they were able to accommodate for late check-in. I would recommend this spot and for the location and the value."

"Despite the rain, we had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Sassa. The service was excellent, the views were stunning even in bad weather, and the spa was a perfect escape. The breakfast was super. A great spot for a relaxing couples’ getaway. "
