"We had a very warm welcome from Andres and we enjoyed the introduction to his wonderful family home, which has been restored beautifully, and is immaculate. The gardens, grounds and pool are are beautifully kept too, with some very attractive seating areas , in different corners. We enjoyed being there for the local festa, eating at local restaurants, and walking along the banks of the Minho. Cannot finish without mentioning the SPECTACULAR buffet breakfast! "The breakfast is not worth it. I wanted only one thing from the $9 dollar breakfast: an apple. But they were adamant that I must eat the apple there or leave it. I paid $9 just for the breakfast and I wasn't permitted to have an apple. It’s an ok area. But you’ll want to be closer to the port. "
