"Overnight last-minute trip to Venice. Location to train station was a must. Hotel Carlton was just that. Service, room, breakfast, location & staff were amazing! Sitting outside people watching & the canal view AWESOME!!! Everything in walking distance & felt safe too!"

"Seems a bit out of the way but nearby boat stop and water taxi to airport make it work. Nice large rooms, good restaurants anf cool pool on roof, good lid nearby restaurants. It’s large and rooms are a bit circuitous to find but one of best values in Venice!!! "

"Nice property right near the Rialto bridge so very convenient to get the water taxis to and from the train station. We were hoping to have a small canal view but our room overlooked the building right next door. Room was small but very functional. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Small but good breakfast buffet. "

"The property is new so for sure it looked great. I booked it because it is a very short walk to the Mestre Venice train station. It was easy to get to the canals, and I didn't have to pay crazy high prices. Also, I feel much more comfortable in modern clean settings. I was pleasantly surprised by the good restaurants that are very close to the hotel. Micheles, which was right across the street had awesome food. The surrounding neighborhood was not special to stroll, so that was the only negative. But we were there mainly to visit the canals, so it was perfect for that."
