A friend who was considering spending a week with us had to change her plans, The kitchen was woefully equipped: no storage space for food, no pedal bin, no cutting board, no cutting knife or bread knife... The rack to dry washing was derelict too. Our neighbours in the adjoining apartment complained of the same lack. No cleaning service offered for a stay of almost 3 weeks: only a change of sheets/towels arrived. The property...

There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"Pros: amazing rural setting, complete with cows, sheep, donkeys and chickens. The owner was efficient and responsive throughout. She very kindly made a phone call for us as our Spanish was not good enough. A good center from which to see many wonderful sites. Small but adequate kitchen, ditto bathroom. Comfortable beds. Cons: very steep, narrow stairs to bedrooms - would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The rental shares paper-thin walls with the owners and another rental unit -...
