Newly remodeled cabin with large waterfront lot, dock space available for your boat or pontoon. Available year round for all your summer, fall, winter activities. Cozy, clean and fully stocked. Ready for you and your family to enjoy!

This Fall and Winter, enjoy the nearly 100 miles of trails in Barron County. ATV and Snowmobile trails near our property. Duck hunting and ice fishing are steps away from the cabin.

Cabin was very clean, and owners were very friendly. Has a little dock for a boat and a fish cleaning station. Perfect place for a couple fisherman to stay!

Fishing trip back to Prairie Lake

Owner quick to answer questions and fulfill request. Area to clean fish was good. Maybe could use a light to clean later at night. Cabin very well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Plenty of room to park several cars. The walkout basement cuts some of the walking that is needed on a hill to get to the dock. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Chetek area.

Perfect lakefront stay

This is a cozy, newly remodeled lakefront home with a boat dock that is located on the Chetek chain. We brought our boat and we had access to six lakes. There are numerous bars and restaurants you can stop at along the way with some great bluegill fishing! Cathy was easily available if we needed anything and provided all the basic necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, towels, sheets, a coffee maker and K cups, and a fish cleaning station. The location was perfect! The town was an easy 5 minute drive and the boat launch was 3 miles away. We would not hesitate to rent from Cathy again!! Book this place!

Absolute dream of a view off the back deck! The house was immaculately clean and perfect for our family of four. My boys loved fishing off the dock and the proximity to Chetek and its amenities cannot be beat. Cathy was wonderful and a great host, 10/10 recommend and will likely be back!

Loved the location. No houses on one side, the other side you couldn’t notice neighbors. Deck was nice facing water. Spectacular view of water inside well Surprised of how cute the place is on the inside. The cabin was well equipped with kitchen pots/pans, etc. we would return.

Great Little Getaway

We have stayed in a lot of nice VRBO cabins, but this one was exceptional. Immaculately clean, very well stocked kitchen with high end utensils/pots and pans, and very comfortable beds and furniture. We lucked out on the summer weather, too, so we were able to have all of the windows open to hear the birds and feel the breeze. Very enjoyable stay indeed :-)
