On August 17, 1959, a 7.5 earthquake occurred in southern Montana, killing 28 people and creating a lake. It is one of the more creepy places that I've been to. There are tons of bleached snags poking out of the water which in the evening become a popular nesting place for ravens. This photo was taken just after sunrise. #waterlust

"Cabin is located in a private subdivision at the end of a road. The numerous speed limit signs (10 mph) on the side of the road and even in the road made it clear that cars,side by sides,and 4 wheelers need to slow down. Most do, just as we did, because the numerous potholes in the dirt road make travel bumpy and bouncy. Cabin was well marked (spray paint on garbage can).Access to the cabin is via a lockbox. Use the provided code to retreive the keys. Be cautious, the lockbox could take...
