"We stayed in an annex room, number 1. This room had an extra bedroom and was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice with lots of towels. The tea/coffee tray in the room was by far the best we had seen in a very long time, not stingy like most places. "A weird mix, to start, it is a beautiful spot with lovely views next door to an old church. Nice warm welcome, lovely clean, comfortable room. The bed was comfortable, the area very quiet so expect a good sleep! There is a nice note about the new staff working so please be patient, but some basics were just missed. "This is a lovely place to stay. My room was small but had lovely touches like bathrobes and pillow spray. Only thing to be aware of is the is no parking nearby.. this is fine as the location makes up for it but the car park is a steep hill walk away. I recommend driving down and dropping off any luggage then going to park. "

"Great find, extensive car park, very comfortable room with everything you need and a lovely touch was a decanter with a little sherry in for a pre dinner tipple. Food was good with an extensive menu and friendly helpful staff. All in all a great 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. Ideally situated for Eden project visit, would definitely recommend."
