"It depends on which room you get. I stayed at Z in Holborn/London twice in the space of a week during a business trip, and booked the same type of room each time. The location is excellent, right on a major street and just a few feet from the Holborn tube station. Within easy reach are restaurants, coffee shops, food stores, etc. as well as Lincolns Inn Fields, a lovely park. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel serves food and coffee (which I did not try).
My first room was just a tiny narrow hall next to a small, but adequate glassed in bathroom, leading to a large bed that was surrounded on three sides by walls. I barely had room for my suitcase in the hall. It was soundproof though. My second one was much larger with the same bathroom, but enough room to move around and plenty of room for my suitcase. It was also soundproof."
