"When i reservation, it didn't say anything about.visitors. Ws went to visit a friend and she rode with us to get checked in. The guy came out and told us we couldnt have visitor's, that we had to meet them on the street. We even offered to pay more for her.to visit us. He told us no, that we paid for 2 people and no more. That we had to leave and had to call Hotels.com to gwt a refund. Iwouldnt suggest this place to anyone. The people are rude. "

"Literally the only hotel in the area, and it’s got outside doors, which I am definitely not a fan of, but we were having trailer troubles and had to stay somewhere. This place is actually really nice!!! The interior has been completely remodeled and they did a nice job with it! A lot of times they look like they were hastily remodeled with crooked half painted walls and old sinks… this place was very clean, bed was comfortable, sheets were pristine, furniture was spotless, sinks and showers updated, the employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. As much as I hate exterior doors, I’d definitely stay here again! I’m very particular and difficult to impress sometimes, but this place well exceeded my expectations. "
"We only got to stay for a little over an hour because my husband had a heart attack while there and we left to go to the nearby emergency room and were then transferred immediately to another hospital. Every staff member we encountered at the hotel were very nice and the room was clean and nice."
"Came into town for a family gathering. The hotel is new, clean, and spacious. Staff was very friendly and even breakfast was decent for “free”. My only complaint was that the walls and floors were built quickly and didn’t have the needed sound barriers. I could hear ppl above us walking and some noise from the neighboring room. Though it wasn’t enough to be too bothersome or keep me awake, I was saddened to see another quick construction job completed. We will more than likely stay here again though as it is affordable and convenient. "

"I enjoyed my stay at Best Western. I was there for business with my job. Everyone there especially at the front desk/ lobby was extremely Nice and Professional. I slept well in my comfortable and super clean room. I enjoyed the tasty breakfast before heading out. "Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be disappointed with anything in my humble opinion."
