"On par for a Motel 6. You get what you pay for, maybe. Our room had beds, a functioning toilet, and a working shower head. Furniture and walls were in terrible repair, floor felt grimy. Beds were sleepable, air conditioner worked (but also was too cold despite multiple adjustments in the middle of the night). Room and hotel were quiet and felt relatively safe though there was broken glass in the parking lot where we parked. We appreciated that pets stayed free and parking was free."
"The property is obviously under heavy renovation. The bed was comfortable and clean, however, except for a tv (new) and a fridge (old) there were no room amenities.
The location is excellent for someone overnighting at the Philadelphia airport; just a short Uber ride away. I hope they get place fixed up soon . It could be a real gold mine for the owners."
"Our room smelled like disinfectant and stale cigarettes. It was a smoking room,but I’ve never been in a smoking room quite so smelly. It was an overwhelming stink. We Left the door open and put bathroom fan on for about an hour. It helped a little bit. The bed linens and towels reeked too. Popcorn ceiling was filthy. Tv cable was glitchy on most channels too. The mini fridge was nice and cold!"
"First, this is a Red Carpet Inn, not a Motel 6, which caused us to drive around a bit before we went inside and asked. Luckily, they had our booking. There are people residing at this motel but they were very quiet and kept to themselves. The location was perfect for us. You can tell they are trying to keep the place nice but up close, there’s peeling paint and some things are old. Nonetheless, the room was spotless with a nice, comfortable bed.
