"The place was good with basic furnishings. Scandi means Ikea. Internet worked well. It was well located in the centre of Linlithgow which is close to Edinburgh and a lovely town. Lovely views of the loch and quiet. We received a couple of detailed, lovely and welcoming automated messages upon booking asking for our arrival and departure times to help with flexible check in or out. We were then very disappointed with the lack of hospitality from the host when we asked about flexible check out...

"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"Great location walking distance from train station, (10min) walking distance to Stirling Castle (10min) walking distance from Wallace Monument (30min) and and across street from large Tesco. Very comfortable flat lots of room and safe neighborhood."

"Firstly, this was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in. Comfy and cosy little escape which we really enjoyed. Used as a base for a few days to visit and perforn at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which was only 25 minutes away by train. The decor of the property was tasteful and the whole feeling was one of private seclusion despite being in a fairly busy area. Kitchen had everything you need for knocking up a quick meal, and the welcome pack of teas and coffees was welcome. Would recommend."

"Didn't get to stay at the apartment because of storm Babet. Travel was cancelled so we didnt make it. We asked for a possible refund and hotels tried to help but the owners dud not respond. We booked for two nights "

"Very nice and spacious living space that was clean and well kept. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the central part of Bridge of Allan with its shops and restaurants. Jane and her lovely dog Ivy were exceptional hosts."

Edinburgh was looking pretty pricey so we opted to find something out of town to save some money. This space did not disappoint! "Wow! This is one of the best experiences I’ve had. Amazing hospitality by Kenneth from the time we arrived to our departure. The apartment was clean, neat, spacious and had wonderful amenities. Convenient to the park and ride for the tram into Edinburgh. Lots of travel guides provided if you’re looking for ideas on what to do or where to go. I hope to return some day and will definitely stay here."

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 nights while visiting Scotland. Very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as there are quite a few stairs."
