"It was just off of water so it had very nice viewing. Balcony provided excellent viewing. Walking to many restaurants around the downtown was a great feature."

"It was clean and quiet. Was glad we paid ahead as there was no one at the desk. Followed the directions there to call but she said she was busy with another customer. After 15-20 minutes a housekeeper came to clock out and she gave another # to call. They gave direction on getting our key from a key holder on the wall. Never did see a person at the desk even when we checked out. Placed key in drop box. Desk closes at 9:30pm and sooner on Sunday."

"Decent place to stay. The rooms have exterior residential type automatic locks with a code instead of key cards. If you get there later at night, the desk closes at at 9pm and you have to talk to someone offsite on a ring camera. I didn't care for that. The rooms were decent."

"This is a historic building. Formerly the actual Governor’s Mansion. So the room had a historic feel. More expensive than the usual stay, like a Days Inn, but worth it. Halt the price of where I often stay, Madison Concourse. It is within walking distance of the Capital Building and a ton of great restaurants! Will definitely return!"

"This was the first weekend the Saddlery was open. I had to program both TV’s and my HVAC unit did not work. All new build minor issues. Despite this I will definitely stay there again if I come to Madison. "

"Stayed with 3 other adult friends. Location was secluded, quiet and definitely felt cabin-y. The huge yard was perfect for lawn games and sitting by the fire. We enjoyed how many places there were to sit, inside and out. Sleeping arrangements were great and the cabin was very well suited for hosting guests.
