  • 35RockRoad offers luxurious, modern accommodation in a quiet, residential road. It is in the perfect location for visiting Cambridge city centre with its beautiful colleges and great shopping. But also for access to Addenbrookes Hospital, various science parks, the Botanic Gardens, multiple language schools, Cherry Hinton Hall park and the train station.
    We have implemented all recommendations of the Professional Association of Self-Caterers UK regarding cleaning measures related to Covid-19. We are also able to send you our manual in pdf format in advance. Contactless check-in is available too.

    Furthermore, we have adopted a 'relaxed' cancellation policy to help you plan your stay at minimum risk.

    Our accommodation consists of:
    - Spacious living / dining room
    - Open plan kitchen with all mod cons
    - Modern bathroom
    - Master bedroom with en-suite showerroom
    - Single bedroom (1)
    - Single bedroom (2)

    Facilities include: Large wide-screen TV, DVD/blu-ray player, free WiFi, HiFi internet stereo, off-street parking, bicycle storage, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cot bed (on request), high chair (on request).


    Local area: 35 Rock Road is located in the Victorian district of Cambridge. Local shops are within minutes' walking distance. The area also boasts several good quality restaurants, a cinema, fitness centre and a ten pin bowling alley. The train station is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus (bus stops are within minutes of the property). The City Centre, Addenbrooke's Hospital, several language schools, Cherry Hinton Hall park and various science parks are all within easy reach.

Lovely relaxing stay

Great place to be with old friends. We felt very comfortable here and love the fact this suits a small group of friends.

The accommodation was clean well maintained and included all that we required to provide us with a comfortable stay. The off road parking was a huge plus. The information provided in the house gave us all the information we required.

Excellent place to stay

Beautifully appointed, comfortable and great location. Easy and reliable carpark, everything you would need is in the house including games, books and dvd’s. Several family restaurants and cafes nearby, and bus into town from around the corner. We’ll definitely be back.

Alles sehr schön

Es gab alles , was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Die Wohnung war hell und gut eingerichtet. Mit dem Bus ist man in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll. Sehr gute Kommunikation. Super Ausstattung, in der Küche und auch sonst alles vorhanden, was man benötigt.

Loved this apartment!

We had a lovely stay at this adorable 3 bedroom. Two friends and I were in for a conference at Cambridge. This was perfect lodging. Spotless, everything was fresh snd bright. We loved having breakfast in the sunny kitchen. Great short walk to the conference snd the Cambridge Botanical Gardens. Will atay again!

Rock Road House Cambridge with family

Property was above our expectations with airy, well lit house with a car space. The house was in a quiet street. It had two single bedrooms for our children and a double bed for adults. It had all the facilities/kitchen things that we needed.

Arrogant host failed to disclose major road work

We were visiting family and friends in the Cambridge, U.K. area. The reason we rented this property was because we wanted a place with off road parking due to Cambridge's congested roadways. This property clearly advertises parking for a car on their premises. However, on arrival from Canada we find the city excavating the street in front of the property. We were not advised of this until the day of our arrival when he sent us an email. We had conversations with neighbors, and they knew that this work was going to be done months in advance. We got to a point where we could no longer be assured that we could gain access on to or off of the property with the car. The host did not apologize for the disruption and for the inconvenience that this situation gave us. He did offer us a parking pass so that we could search the surrounding residential streets for alternative parking. We did not find this satisfactory for our convenience and the security of our rental vehicle. We felt that we did not have any alternative but to search out other rental premises for the remainder of our stay. As for the property itself, it could use an interior paint job and general clean-up. The area carpet in the living room is very dirty and needs shampooing. And it should be noted that the spiral staircase is extremely narrow which makes carrying groceries etc. very precarious. In our view this rental would not be suitable for a family with children or the elderly.

Very nice stay close to Cambridge city centre

We had a wonderful stay in Cambridge. The city centre was approximately 20 minutes walking distance (or easy biking distance). Shops and restaurants nearby. Easy parking for car and bicycles. The property was very clean and many items like coffee, tea, salt, pepper were provided. Good kitchen for cooking. Nice the children had their own single rooms.

Quiet hideout walking distance to the bustling centre

Located in a quiet street with its own roof terrace. It had all the little things (coffee pods, washing tablets, salt, etc) that made it an easy short stay for us. Owner was in touch several times to ask us how we were doing.

Beautiful vacation in the heart of Cambridge

We enjoyed beautiful days in a comfortable house that is well located in a peaceful neighborhood near the city center. We found all we needed during our stay.

King's event

The property was clean and very obviously well looked after. It contained all that we could have hoped for, was convenient for our needs regarding its location and bicycles!! We would happily return.

Great location

We had a lovely stay in Cambridge. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and a great location made for a relaxing week. Our host, Paul was very kind and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. There are several delightful restaurants very near by as well.
