We checked into a motel, and then owner tried to charge me $2000.00 for "water damage", when there was no running water and we never stayed."

This is close to everything in Richmond (including Galo’s, a wonderful restaurant) but when at the home you are secluded. We got lots of use of the porch swings, fire pit, outside kitchen, lake (fishing), outside dining, etc. everything was as described and the host was amazing. Kevin and Chris treated us like family. Furnishings needed are TV, Bed stand Lamps, and closer attention to cleanliness, the well water is non-potable to strangers, need bottled water provided for Coffee and drinking. Generally, Nice rental. Communication and accuracy of details with Sandpiper required multiple calls and stress."

"If you are looking for a very peaceful getaway from all the hustle and bustle, this is your spot. The home is conveniently located a short drive off the highway and is close to small town conveniences. A perfect alternative to trying to find a hotel for a larger family when dropping kids off at BSU (a very manageable drive up HWY3) Kris and Aleece were incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable! Highly recommend!"
