" My siblings and I brought our Mom to the island to celebrate her 82nd birthday. This home was just right for us. It is beautiful, well kept and laid out so nicely. My mom could go to bed early and we all sat around in the kitchen or living room playing games and laughing until late; not worried we'd disturb her because the bedrooms are in a side wing just far enough away. We did have an issue with the heat at first, but the local woman who cleans the house came over and helped us in such a gracious and compassionate way that we felt very well supported. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again!"

"Great for a family getaway. Game room, fully-equipped kitchen, and great views and beach access. The only downside was the sun beating in through the living room windows from about 3pm to 8pm. The shades didn't help all that much, and the place really heated up and was blinding in certain spots. Be sure to only park in designated spots."

"Nice convienent cabin, (bunkhouse) to stay in. Very clean and well supplied. Our only negative is the bed. Both people roll into the middle of bed. Making it a uncomfortable night.Beside that all good and owners respond fast to questions."

"My husband and I and our adult son stayed at the Arlene as a home base visiting family in Stanwood and exploring the local area. It is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable with decor that is not fussy and overwhelming. We were sorry not to be there enough to use the fire pit and all the kitchen gadgets. Will try to book it for future trips."

"The house was very clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy to get to. If you are looking for an authentic cottage to stay at, this is it. Very quiet at night. You can see Mount Baker and the Cascade mountain range from the deck or looking out the windows. Sunsets were breathtaking."

"The view doesn't get any better and was the star of the show! The house was roomy and comfortable for a party of 6 ladies and we had just about everything needed. We were lucky to have beautiful April weather and could take advantage of hanging around the fire pit. Check-in/check-out was easy. We had a couple of comments for property management and the response was immediate. Can only imagine how much fun it would be to stay here in the summer. Just lovely! "

"The kitchen was completely equipped and the pantry of items needed for cooking was amazing. The technology for Wi-Fi everywhere and syncing to the TVs was easy and sound system was excellent. The accommodations was excellent. The views were magnificent. The lighting throughout the day and night with the many windows was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again and again."

"Wonderful place for a large family vacation, we all had our private space when we needed it, the kitchen had appropriate supplies for cooking and the game room had toys and activities for all ages.The hot tub took some time to get up to temperature but was great once it got going.
