"Great place for a short stay. Generous room size. Pleasant and helpful staff. Location is superb, very central and walkable to places and it has supermarket next door which is very handy. Stay included breakfast with reasonable choices. Shower facilities needs maintenance as water pressure was very low, everything else is good and room had massive wardrobes and a lovely balcony."

"Very good communication prior to arrival, clear instructions. The hotel is well located in Monte area, next to the cable car and Monte Tropical Garden. Room was spacious, comfy, well maintained. "Its a lovely apartment with everything you need. Staff exceptionally helpful. Convenient to drive to little villages. Takes about 45 minutes drive to the Madeira airport or car return once you figure out to stay in the tunnels not divert to the village signs. This property is on the north central coast. Post office at gas station across the road. Would defitely stay again."

"Easy parking at the back, which is rare in seixal. The black beach is 5min walk! Nice room and house, very quiet neighborhood. I slept windows open to hear the waves! The breakfast is very basic. "

"We stayed here in fall 2023. Location is very convenient to Ribiera Brava (5 minutes by car; we did not take a bus). Great restaurants in town Beautiful clifftop views of the ocean. Private pool (for the 3 units). Very nice ocean view balcony for wine etc. Make sure you let the hosts know when you are arriving as they need to open the front gate (our fault!). Ample parking inside the gate. Wonderful clean facilities. Breakfasts excellent in a common kitchen (too many choices…the pastries...

Rooms are clean with lovely facilities, great pool and the views are heavenly. Good location, less than 5 mins drive to the beach in Calheta. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful location, run by genuinely lovely people. We took the self catering apartment option and it suited us down to the ground. Slightly remote if you are not fully mobile. We did not want to hire a car, so used taxis a lot. We were given a driver's number and received excellent service. There is a handy bus service into Funchal."

"Great, clean stay in a great location in Funchal. Sergio is a great host. There is no parking but there are garages close by for very cheap 24 hour parking. My only complaint was that the pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable so I used the blanket as a pillow. "
