"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

"We were very well received by Cecile and Frederic. We had three generations of our family for a vacation. Most have never been in France before. The cottage is a beautiful, peaceful place with lots of room for the family. The pool area is separate and private. Our table tennis competition was fierce. "We had a wonderful time at the Les Olivettes mazet- exactly what we were looking for. Despite temperatures in the mid-30s (C), the stone house stayed cool and was a perfect base to explore their area. The Uzès square was vibrant and welcoming. Excellent communication with Chantal in advance of the stay and highest marks to Stefy who helped us get settled and was available to answer questions throughout our stay.
