"The property is very easy to find and had everything we needed for our holidays. It was as described in the listing. The pool was gorgeous and a welcome relief during the heatwave experienced in the area while we were staying. Would definitely recommend La Truite for a holiday as it is very close to local towns and attractions"

"Had a lovely week here. Chalet could do with some updating but it was fine as a base to explore the beautiful area. The swimming pool was great and we loved the remote location. It feels like you are miles from anywhere. Owner was very nice and very helpful."

"Before arrival, we passed this place and thought our sat nav was wrong but, this place is so well hidden and camouflaged into the landscape, you would miss it totally. Its in between the River Dordogne and the River Lot (which is prestine!) The accommodation was lovely and clean and just what was ordered for a relaxing family holiday. "We spent a lovely holiday staying at Vincent and Emanuelle’s gite. The property is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The gite is located in a magical part of the Dordogne where there are new things to see and do around every corner, in fact the area is known as the golden triangle as it is so rich in beauty, and culture. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
