"A wonderful place to stay and recharge after spending the day touring the region. Staff were very helpful and attentive and breakfasts were outstanding. The view of the valley below and the Med. in the distance is incredible. Room was large with a separate living area and a good balcony. All in all, more like a spa hotel than a rustic agritirismo."

"The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us...

"Very welcoming and changed our room easily to ground floor to accommodate us. So glad there was a bar and restaurant on site and the food and service was lovely. So nice to eat outside on the terrace. Didn’t have time to use the pool, it it looked lovely although up quite a climb to the top garden. Breakfast was delicious, served to our order. Thank you. Would recommend highly. "

"The property was clean, but basic and a little rustic. It was a peaceful country experience with lots of birdsong and frogs sounding in the valley. If you want peace and quiet, this is it. It is a bit off the beaten track south of Caltagirone, a very charming town. We were the only guests in the early season, so Michele and his wife cooked just for us for one night. "Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed longer. "
