"Clean hotel in a good location. Large bedroom and balcony. Good breakfast but evening meal was not the quality expected of a 4 star hotel. You were not permitted to take drinks into the dining room for evening meal, however it was not possible to order a drink in the dining room due to only 2 waiters trying to cope with a very large number of people. More serving staff required. Our table was not always cleared of dirty dishes, again not enough staff."

"Excelente hotel! Todo de categoría."

"Lovely little hotel on the edge of old Town. Clean, cool and very comfortable beds. Staff are very polite and helpful"

"Excellent facilities and great staff"

"On the day we arrived the reception staff were very welcoming and explained everything. Everything was spotlessly clean in the hotel even the area around the pool. I would definitely go again"

"Lovely hotel spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. No bar in hotel is the only slight downside but the cafe bar next door is affiliated nice and several cafe bars outside"

"Personal könnte freundlicher sein"

"A beautiful hotel. A little far from Town is all"

"Muito obrigado pelo atendimento, hotel lindo maravilhoso, limpo e confortável a cama, foi muito bem atendida por todos vocês"

"Our stay at Santa Bárbara Hotel was fantastic. The location in the heart of Altea’s Historic Center is perfect — everything is walkable, from restaurants to bars. The view from our room was stunning and made the experience unforgettable. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Madara welcomed us warmly with great recommendations — the communication throughout our stay was excellent. Be mindful that the hotel doesn’t offer parking since the area is fully pedestrian, but it was totally worth it for...

"Perfect location for exploring the city, both old town and seaside. Loved the room and cannot say enough about the reception staff who answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations regarding the Moros y Cristianos festival. She helped make our stay memorable and was very welcoming. Hotel has a relaxed vibe and great selection of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance."

"Very happy with the hotel"

"Como en 🏠, hotel familiar"

"All is good"

"Helpful and friendly l staff, great breakfast buffet, great location."

"its a really well positioned boutique hotel with a lovely pool. But the rates are not inexpensive (we paid over £400 a night) and for that it lacks what that price-point normally gives. for instance, and I know these are small points but as such, all the more frustrating. We say around the pool for several hours over the two days. Not once were we offered a drink. On both mornings, we came down to breakfast and no staff were visible for at least 15 minutes. When someone eventually appeared was...
