"A weird mix, to start, it is a beautiful spot with lovely views next door to an old church. Nice warm welcome, lovely clean, comfortable room. The bed was comfortable, the area very quiet so expect a good sleep! There is a nice note about the new staff working so please be patient, but some basics were just missed. "I can't say enough good things about this property, the staff that work there and the lodge that we stayed in by the side of the lake. The Lodge is quite simply exceptional. The build and fit out and furniture, the comfort of the bed, the bifold doors at the front and front view is incomparable. They have thought of everything inside the Lodge and made it such a beautiful place to stay. We didn't want to leave."
