"How soon can I go back? I can't say enough about this lake house. We hung out on the dock for hours, and when the breeze picked up we hung out on the top deck of the cabin instead--it's protected from wind by trees. When one day it started raining, we moved to the lower deck, which is sheltered by the top deck. Any one of those spots would make the cabin worthwhile, but being able to move between the three takes it to the next level. Meg and Wes were incredible hosts, responsive within minutes when we texted. The bed was super cozy and the house is better stocked than any vacation rental I've been to. We loved our time there."

"The home was comfortable and very nice! There's no a/c so I'm happy the weather was cooler while we were there. The property is beautiful! The river is really low which makes for a muddy beach area but we still had fun using the canoe. The home was very well stocked of basic kitchen supplies and towels, etc."

"My two friends and I needed a Plan B when our backpacking trip had rain expected all three days. We found Shawn Kendra’s place and immediately knew it was a perfect option. We slept incredibly well, and had so much fun cooking in the small but mighty kitchen, made fires in the beautiful fireplace, went for a leisurely kayak, and explored the eclectic art, collectibles, movie and music selection. We also had an amazing horse riding experience just 15 minutes away via a recommendation from Shawn. 10/10 stay—hope we get to come visit again next year!!"

"This was a great family getaway for our multigenerational group of 6 adults and 5 kids. Nicole was so great before, during and after our stay. The kids caught at least 100 fish off the dock and shore. Although we were unable to swim due to milfoil this time of year, we used the provided kayaks, lounge chairs and sand toys and enjoyed lots of beach time! There were lots of games inside when it was later into the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed! I would not hesitate to stay here again!"
