"The cabin was cute and cozy! Very clean! Very Sweet Host! They greeted us as soon as we got there! Had everything you would need for a weekend getaway! Very peaceful and Quiet! It's close to the town square! You dont have to drive very far! Would recommend people to stay!! Super cold air!"

"Immaculately clean interior, Beautiful quiet setting as seen in pics with river and pastoral views. Very well stocked kitchen (a bit too many pans for cupboard space). Easy layout and entry. AC worked beautifully. Bats come out at night around 830pm and leave guano on the deck but this didn't bother us, we spent time outside on the deck nearer to the master bedroom. Hostess was very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves outside. She was very apologetic about the outdoor Bat situation, and we as homeowners understand that is beyond her control and she plans to get assist with the problem. Highly recommend unless you don't like Bats."

"I got into town fairly late, and several other hotels were booked with workers who came to make repairs after the spring tornadoes. Then I found this hotel. Absolutely pristine, comfortable, quiet rooms inside. Easy, safe parking outside and they are dog friendly, at least for little dogs like mine. I had a much needed sleep in. My dog was so happy there that he did not want to leave. I stayed here before driving up to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. "

"Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids ranging from 7-14) all had a great time! Although not much exploring right on the property, good hiking trails are just around the corner, as well as a great view of the river! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home!"
